Honorable Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni Becomes a Cyber Teens’s Peace Ambassador
The education minister of the Bangladesh Government, Dr. Dipu Moni joins Cyber Teens as a Peace Ambassador.
It is our pleasure to share that on Wednesday, April 13, our well-wisher Dr. Dipu Moni joined the Cyber Teens Peace Ambassador program. She is a known face to the teenagers and students of Bangladesh and has been praised all around the country and abroad for her positive influence in the education sector of the country.
It is also to mention that she has been supporting us from the backstage and encouraging us with her advice and motivation for a long time.
In her speech, Dr. Dipu Moni said, “In the world of technology, people of all ages are actively using the internet. The internet needs to be safe, and we should make sure that no children or teenagers face harassment from using it. I feel proud to join Cyber Teens Foundation as a peace ambassador and I am thankful to them for offering me the chance to be part in creating a safer internet for the future.”
“I hope I, along with Cyber Teens, are going to try our best to ensure the cyber domain stays safe for everyone,” she added.
At the event, our founder and president Sadat Rahman handed over the peace ambassadors crest to Dr. Dipu Moni on behalf of the Cyber Teens Foundation.
Sadat Rahman shared, “At Cyber Teens, we are continuing our work to ensure a safe and secure internet for adolescents. The incredible personalities of our peace ambassador program will help motivate and uplift the victims of cyberbullying who resort to us for help. We believe we can prevent many unfortunate accidents among teenager victims by connecting them to our peace ambassadors.”
